What You Will Need
Yarn
- #3 Light (DK, light worsted, 8-ply) 100% cotton or cotton blend.
- Color of choice, about 9 yards (8.3 meters) of yarn for each scrubby.
Hook
- 4mm (G-6) or a crochet hook size to obtain the correct gauge.

Instructions
- Foundation - MR or, ch3, sl st in 1st ch to form a ring.
- Round 1 - Ch1 (not counted as a st), 6sc into ring, sl st in top of 1st sc to join. [6sc]
- Round 2 - Ch2 (counts as a dc), 1dc in same sp as ch-2, 2dc in each st around, sl st in top of ch-2 to join. [12dc]
- Round 3 - Ch2 (counts as dc) 1 dc in same sp as ch-2, ch1, *(2dc) in next st, ch1, rpt from * 10 more times, sl st into top of ch-2 to join. [24dc, 12 x ch-1 sps]
- Round 4- (3dc) in ch-1 sp, sl st in between the 2-dc of prev rnd, * (3dc) in next ch-1 sp, sl st into sp between 2-dc of prev rnd, rpt from* 9 more times, (3dc) in ch-1 sp, sl st into same sp as 1st sl st, ch1, cut yarn and fasten off.
- Finish - Use a yarn needle to weave in the tail ends.
