What You Will Need

Yarn

  • 100% acrylic yarn, DK (light worsted, 8ply) yarn, 251 yards (230 meters), 3.5 ounces (100 gram) skein
  • Color A (Purple) - 1 skein
  • Color B (Dark Pink) - 1 skein
  • Color C (Orange) - 1 skein
  • Color D (Yellow) - 1 skein
  • Color E (Green) - 1 skein
  • Color F (Blue) - 1 skein
  • Color G (Light Pink) - 1 skein
  • Color H (White) - 3 skeins

Hook

  • 5 mm hook or hook size to obtain the correct gauge.
  • 6.5 mm hook (for the foundation chain only) - Optional

  • Scissors
  • Yarn needle

Gauge

  • 14 stitches (lemon peel pattern) and 14 rows = 4 x 4 inches (10 x 10 cm) with a 5mm hook.

Finished Size

  • Round 2 - Ch 1 (does not count as a st), sc in each st around the border, work (sc, ch2, sc) in each corner ch 2 sp. Sl st in 1st sc. Do not turn.
  • Round 3 - 4 - Ch 2 (does not count as a st), hdc in each st around the border, work (hdc, ch2, hdc) in each corner ch 2 sp. Sl st in 1st hdc. Do not turn.
  • Round 5 - Ch 3 (does not count as a st), dc in each st around the border, work (dc, ch2, dc) in each corner ch 2 sp. Sl st in 1st dc. Do not turn.
  • Round 6 - repeat round 2. Fasten off and weave in ends.
