Yarn
- #3 light (DK, light worsted, 8ply) 100% Acrylic yarn, or similar yarn.
- Hat - about 9.3 yards (5.6 meters) of purple yarn
- Hat band - about 0.76 yards (0.7 meters) of black yarn
- Hat buckle - a small amount of orange yarn
