Weave drawstring into bag
- Working from the front of the pouch from right to left.
- Insert one end of the drawstring between any second and third double crochet stitch in round 13 of the pouch, pull the drawstring to the back of the of the stitches, then back to the front of the pouch in the chain 1 space.
- Weave the remaining drawstring in and out of the chain 1 spaces in round 13.
- When you come back to the last chain 1 space, don't bring the drawstring tie to the front in this space instead, bring it to the front between the first and second double crochet stitches just before the space where you started.
- Adjust the drawstring so that the ends are even on both sides.
- Weave in ends.

Roses (make 7)
Note: When making each flower start and end with long yarn tail - about 8 inches (20cm) long - these will be used to secure the rose to the pouch.
Foundation, col C - start with a long yarn tail, ch12.
Rnd 1 - 3hdc in 3rd ch from hk, 3dc in next 7-sts, (2dc, 1hdc) in next st, (2hdc, 1sc) in last st, ch1, cut yarn, leave a long tail for sewing.
Finish rose
- Thread the yarn tail that comes from the single crochet stitch onto a needle.
- Adjust the rose coil into a loose rose shape you are happy with.
- Insert the needle through the back of the coil working through all layers, passing though several times to hold the coil in place.
- Once the shape is securely held in place, weave the needle to the other yarn tail, draw it up and knot the two ends together.
- Do not cut the tails just yet you will need these to attach the roses to the pouch.

Attach roses to pouch
- The flowers will be attached to the single crochet stitches made in round 14 (the first round of green).
- Use the double crochet stitches of round 13 where the drawstrings start and end as the center front of the bag.

- Count 3 single crochet stitches either side of the center front, mark each with a stitch marker.
- You should have two stitch markers evenly place from the center front, with 4 single crochet stitches between the marked stitches.

- Start with the first mark stitch on the left hand side and use the tail ends to tie one rose around the post of the single crochet stitch (knotting it to the inside of the pouch). Thread the yarn tails onto a needle and weave the ends back into the rose, trim away the excess.

- Work your way around the pouch from left to right, skip the next single crochet stitch and attach a rose to the next single crochet stitch, repeat the steps until you have attached six roses, the sixth one going onto the second marked stitch.
- Secure that last rose at the top of the center double crochet stitch just above where the drawstrings sit at the center front, weave in ends and finish off as you did before.
