A double crochet stitch is a basic crochet stitch that makes a tall and open fabric.
To do it, yarn over, insert the hook into the stitch, yarn over again, pull up a loop, yarn over once more, and then pull through two loops on the hook.
Finally, yarn over again and pull through the remaining two loops. It creates a slightly taller stitch compared to a single crochet.
