Skip 1 stitch and make 1 double crochet in the stitch next to chain 3, slip stitch in top of chain 3 to join.

Round 3 - Chain 1, single crochet in next stitch (the 2nd double crochet of the previous round), chain 1.
In the chain 5 space make 1 half double crochet, 6 double crochets, and 1 half double crochet.
Then chain 2, *skip 1 stitch, single crochet in the next stitch (the 2nd double crochet of the previous round), chain 1, then make 1 half double crochet, 6 double crochets, and 1 half double crochet in chain 5 space, chain 1, repeat from* 6 more times, then slip stitch into sl st into chain 1, cut yarn and fasten off.
