Yarn

We use #4 medium (also known as Worsted, Afghan, Aran, or 10ply) acrylic yarn with 11 WPI (wraps per inch). For each Valentine's crochet coaster you will need:

• 15.3 yards (14 meters) of yarn in a color of your choice.

Round Two

Round 2 - Chain 1 (this is not counted as a stitch), make 2 half double crochet in the same space as chain 1, then make 2 half double crochet stitches in the next 10 stitches, slip stitch into the 1st st to join.
