About This Strawberry Key Chain Pattern

  • This is an easy pattern that starts by crocheting a circle in the first and second rounds.
  • In rounds number 3 - 7, the strawberry pattern takes shape by skipping and decreasing the number of stitches in each row.
  • It can be a bit fiddle to work on especially for someone who has not crocheted a small item, but do persevere because you quickly get used to working on something this small.
  • It is a fast little project that can be made in less than 15 minutes.
  • Unlike a crochet amigurumi strawberry keychain that is made with single crochet stitches and filled with stuffing, this crochet keychain is flat and worked in double crochet stitches.

What Kind Of Yarn Do You Use For Crochet Keychains?

We prefer to use 100% cotton yarn because it is strong and durable and tends to look better for longer because it does not fray or pill like acrylic and other yarns do.

However, it is a personal choice, so use whatever you prefer.

Creative Uses for Strawberry Keychains

Here are 10 creative ways to use a strawberry keyring:

  • Attach them to your keys to easily, find them in a crowded bag or key hold
  • Attach them to your purse, tote, or backpack by hanging a strawberry keychain from the zipper or strap.
  • Fasten them on to zipper pulls on jackets, hoodies, or bags with cute fruity look.
  • Loop it around your phone case or strap for a unique and fun decoration.
  • Hang them on your car's rearview mirror to charm into your car's interior.
  • Use them as adorable gift toppers or tie-ons for presents, adding an extra special touch to your packages.
  • Attach the strawberries to ribbons and use them to hold back lightweight curtains in a creative and whimsical way.
  • Attach them to your luggage zippers to easily spot your bags at the airport or train station.
  • Hand them out as party favors at birthdays, baby showers, or other gatherings for a delightful keepsake.
